Land Use Chair

I have served as the Chair of the Land Use and Planning Committee for the last two years. Land use on both a local and state level is what I am most passionate about. We need sustainable, thought out, equitable growth in Venice that respects the unique historical and cultural ethos of Venice. Open space and environmental concerns must be key priorities as the community evolves.

 Maintaining and preserving existing affordable housing stock is another key issue that must also be addressed. When I ran at the last election, I spoke to the importance of fighting against top down upzoning legislation currently in favor in Sacramento, and the need for better thought out solutions to the affordable housing crisis. I have consistently addressed the above issues. Thank you to everyone in the community who has supported me and engaged at meetings. It would be an honor and privilege to serve you again.
